“Most health problems are caused by water, living on the seashore has a negative impact on us”.
“Living here is really hard for us, even more when one has many children. Nowadays, it is more expensive to get food because anybody can give you a piece of cloth, but not food”.
“There are water wells, but the health promoter has told us that the water is contaminated with feces”.
“If there’s a chance to do the laundry or iron for someone, I’ll go for it. If I have to sell tamales (typical food) or cook to get some money, I’ll do it”.
